STORY
1979
Manufacturer of soluble for automatic machines
SIMAT is a company founded in 1979 by Joan Font Torelló. From its origins it was dedicated to manufacturing instant soluble products for the Food Service.
ISO Certification
Quality at Simat has been a priority since its origins. It made it a pioneer in its sector, obtaining in 1998 the ISO 9002 (current 9001) certification.

2000New chipboard line
In 2000 we invested in a new agglomeration line (Flexomix), mixing and agglomerating under highly controlled conditions to achieve optimal characteristics in Simat products.
Export of our soluble products
After reaching leadership in the national market, Simat decides to expand its products outside our borders to currently have a presence in more than 30 countries on 4 continents.

2011Development of the naos (healthy) line
In 2011 the NAOS Strategy was implemented, developing a line of clean label soluble products, without preservatives or colorants, without added sugars, without gluten and without lactose.
FSSC22000 Certification
En 2017 Simat obtiene la In 2017 Simat obtained the ISO 22000 and FSSC22000 certification to produce agglomerated powdered products, free of food contamination.

Expansion of logistics facilities
In 2018 we expanded our logistics facilities by 2000 m2, to cope with internal and export growth.
Simat 4.0 Digital Transformation
In 2021 Simat begins an ambitious 4.0 transformation plan based on the digitization, automation and robotization of our facilities.
