At Simat, we want to be your factory. We have 5,400 m2 of facilities that we make available to our customers, manufacturing soluble powder products for our vending, retail and foodservice customers.

Our soluble products are manufactured with the strictest quality standards. At Simat we are aware that quality must have a global focus. The implementation of the quality standards ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and FCSS 22000 signify a commitment in terms of food safety, the quality of our products, the preservation of the environment, safety and hygiene at work and corporate social responsibility, such as the MISSION, VISION and VALUES of Simat express.

Simat take part in the INNOÀPAT project of the AUTENFOOD program financed jointly with the European Union through the Regional European Fund (ERDF). This participation is included in the objectives of the 2014-2020 ERDF Catalonia Operational Investment in Growth and Employment Program: Promote research, technological development and innovation. Simat’s goal is to establish a system for identifying raw materials and quantifying the main components of commercialized products in the world of vending. This is done using near infrared (NIR) spectrometry technology. This system contributes to the detection of possible food fraud.

In its more than 40 years of manufacturing soluble granules for automatic machines, Simat has opted for innovation and permanent adaptation to the requirements of the market, legislation and the environment in terms of quality and food safety. It has been posible by making the relevant investments. Therefore, we have been able to keep the implemented quality management systems (ISO 9001) and food safety (FSSC 22000) updated, giving maximum confidence and receiving recognition from customers.Complying with the regulatory requirements through the health registries RSI 15, RSI 25, RSI 26 and RSI 40. We also have the Ecoembes Certificate and 100% Renewable Energy Certificate and C02 emission savings.

In Simat’s supply chain we establish the approval of suppliers and an exhaustive control and analysis of all raw materials received.

Every year, we carry out more than 40,000 Controls and analyzes, evaluating the organoleptic, physicochemical and microbiological characteristics of instant soluble products. They have been designed to obtain the best dairy drinks, cocoa, cappuccinos, infusions and coffees.

More than 500,000 annual data, automatically recorded during the production process, support the traceability of our productions.

We contract hygienic-sanitary audits of the production facilities carried out periodically by first-rate external laboratories.

In the production of soluble agglomerated food products, air is a fundamental element for drying the product. Simat has a differential air filtering system that guarantees the virtual absence of bacteria and viruses.

At Simat we have “X-ray” foreign body detection systems, which allow us to guarantee a safe product for later consumption and functionality in automatic machines.

Through near-infrared spectrometry (NIR) technology, being a non-polluting technique considered “green analytical chemistry”, it allows us to guarantee the quality and authenticity of the granules manufactured in Simaty and put our grain of sand in the construction of a sustainable economy.
